Golf Holidays
When I have a few pounds saved up and it comes that time of the year to book a holiday, I think to myself “I have worked hard, where should I go?”
Now if you are like me and like to get lots of sunshine, have lots to do and see, and don’t always like to be sat by the pool or on the beach, I like to have adventures and discover new things that I wouldn’t normally see on a one week holiday.
In my spare time I love to go walking, love to be outside in the fresh air and also love to hit golf balls. Yes my favourite holidays are Golf Holidays.
You might not even play the game, you might hate the game, but there are so many GREAT things about going to a Golf resort/destination for your travels;
- The beautiful scenery (not just the golf courses, but the landscape)
- The fabulous sea air & beaches that are always close by
- The people – most people who go on golf holidays are friendly and always have smiles on their faces (whether they have been playing golf or not)
- The shops – especially for the ladies – golf resorts always have the best shops (from high street to Designer) close at hand
- The fantastic golf courses – I could think of nothing better that to be in the sunshine all day on a golf course, getting a tan, chasing a few birdies, and having a swim in the pool after that hard day’s work
I know it might not be to everybody’s taste (especially when I mention the word golf), but If you have never tried it, I think you will find a golf holiday has so many things for so many different people.
